ReplyDeleteI fear that the development of 5e will be hijacked by ubergamers and developers that fall in love with their own ideas.
The pop-o-matic crack is from an inside joke at my FLGS just after 4e came out. When Hasbro (let's be honest about who pulls WotC's strings) published 5e, they would have to dumb it down to the point where it would include either pop-o-matic dice or a "spinner" and the rules would be printed under the box lid.
